Dr. Anna Neena George, Associate Professor of GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education is the inspiration behind this post. All activities are conducted under guidance of our ma'am Anna Neena George.

  Science day was celebrated on 28 February 2022. Theme for the national science day 2022 was integrated approach for subtainable future. We also performed Skeleton Dance at the end.

  Kagan cooperative learning is built on a single tenet:  engagement . When students are engaged and motivated, "learning sticks." In a Kagan classroom,  all  students must be engaged and accountable. There are, however, an overwhelming number of Kagan structures, and if you can't afford to attend expensive workshops, implementation may be difficult.

  Brain-based learning uses neuroscience to create an informed curriculum and lesson design. The goal? Speedy and efficient learning. The research that informs this method centers around the brain’s ability to change, remap, and reorganize itself while someone is learning new information, according to Education Reform.

  A unit test is a test which is constructed, administered and assessed by a teacher after teaching a particular unit to the students. Characteristics of Unit test: 1.        Unit test is an Evaluation tool for measurement of pupils and knowledge achievement and to improve by giving feed back. 2.        It is based on a single unit. 3.        It is administered at the completions of the unit. 4.        It is clear from the above evidence that a unit testing is an integral part of teaching process. Unit testing makes instruction a dynamic process through continuous evaluation and regular feed back. Conducted unit Test for std 6 on topics  1. Sorting materials into Groups 2. Fun with magnets 3.Air around us.

  Education means more than just teaching a student to read, write, and dealing with numbers. ICT, such as the Internet, computers and advanced electronic devices are becoming essential in everyday life and have changed the education systems equally. How this new technology is utilized and managed in the school curriculum by teachers will play an important role in widening the resource and knowledge base for all students.

  A workshop was conducted for S.Y.B.Ed Science students , flannel board making was taught to us.

  The National science Day 2023 was celebrated on 28th February at GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education Farmagudi Ponda. The Chief Guest for the Science Day was Dr. Rajesh Pednekar. SCI-FUN 2023 SCI-FUN means learning science with fun. It is an innovative approach which helps to motivate students in learning science and also in promoting their knowledge and achievement in science. Programme was planned and organised by Dr. Anna Neena George, Associate Professor of GVM's Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education.  This programme is conducted in 2 groups. Group A and Group B. I was part of Group A. We went in 2 schools i.e Saraswati High School Kavlem and Dr. Dada Vaidya High School Curti.   Our 1st visit was in Dr. Dada Vaidya High School Curti. Programme went smoothly in full masti . we Teacher Trainee ass well as school enjoy it fullest. Organised Exhibition Science Model making for Std 7 in my Internship School. Topic for this exhibition was ''Mini Model Making".  Top 2 models were selected as winners. On 23 December , Prize Distribution were held .  Students were presented with golden and silver medal for winner and runner up.         Mini Inverter         Irrigation System Model

      Attended State level Biodiversity Seminar at Mapusa with our ma'am Anna Neena George .  

Organised  Poster Competition in  Internship School for 8th std based on the theme Save Energy. All students were excited to take part in this Competition.

Discrepent Event organised by us B.Ed students One of the best ways to  engage students in science  at the start of a new unit is to use a discrepant event. Discrepant events pique students’ interest and leave them craving the knowledge that you plan to teach them. Students are often left begging you to tell them “how did that happen?”  That’s  the kind of engagement we need (and want!) in science. It’s a win-win! A discrepant event is a surprising and paradoxical outcome that is not what an observer would normally expect. A most common example of a discrepant event would be oobleck. Most children (who have never seen it before) would not expect it to have both properties of a solid and properties of a liquid.
